PrimariLink: SURVEY RESULTS 2005

Thank you for your responses and updates to your practice specialties. Of the 419 surveys sent, 149 replies were received, a return rate of 35%. Here are the results:

Survey Results:

  1. 82% of people who responded have seen 3 or more MVP/PrimariLink clients.
  2. 96% of people who responded rated their overall experience with us as excellent, very good or good. 76% of these people rated it in the excellent/very good range.
  3. 72% compared PrimariLink as much better/better than other companies with whom they work
  4. 96% rated their overall interactions with us as respectful/helpful/timely

Issues:

The number one issue remains the use of OTRs. The Behavioral Health community is still looking for ways to improve on client outcomes. OTRs have been one way to approach this. For those who do not want to use OTRs we’d like to offer you the opportunity to join the Scott Miller project. We are completing the first year and continue to modify the process. For those of you who want to discontinue writing OTRs and are willing to try something new and exciting, please give me a call.

There were also several questions about claims/reimbursement. We do not process claims but have noted several of your comments and will make sure they are given to MVP.

Comments from Providers: Other than the OTR issue, comments were consistently positive and we decided to share one which we think captures what Sherry, Nancy, Traci, Fritz, Jim and I are trying to achieve.

“…the hands down winner without a close second…the working relationship with the staff is by far the most important quality of PrimariLink, far surpassing any others I deal with…”

  • We’ve also enclosed a notification regarding the Second Learning Session with Scott Miller on January 6th at the Brattleboro Retreat. Like last year’s it is free with CEUs. The theme is to build upon the work done during this year using the SRS and ORS, answer questions about the project and decide next steps. The registration form and return envelope are enclosed. Whether you came to last year’s event or not please put this date in your schedule. This project is cutting edge for patient care and a clear demonstration of a better way to improve our work with the people we serve
  • In June 2006, the 3rd annual Scott Miller ‘Heart and Soul of Change’ conference will take place in Bar Harbor, Maine. What’s particularly exciting is that our project will be one of the highlighted presentations. For details go to: www.talkingcure.com

Thanks for your great work. For information on the Scott Miller project please give me a call or e-mail.
